1. What is deep-learning Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
When it comes to AI, it is good to distinguish what level of technology we’re talking about. In all our solutions, we use deep-learning AI. It means training deep neural networks using training data. In practice, we train our Artificial Intelligence -component of ElinarAI™ to understand customer company’s methods. Deep-learning AI can analyze data like a human being – unlike lower levels of AI. Thus, instead of simply identifying numbers, it understands, for example, whether an invoice number series are reference or account numbers.
2. What is the training data for AI?
If we want to automate, for example, purchase invoice accounting, training data includes customers’ old invoices and accounting history data. There must be enough invoices to achieve the desired level of automation. You can ask our experts for more specific numbers.
3. How to install ElinarAI™?
We start together with a workshop. There we will ensure that we can serve the needs of your company. Also, we will check that training data quality and volume are high enough to train ElinarAI™. After that, we will prepare a project plan to approve. During the first month, your company will provide customer requirements and training data. They allow us to pre-train AI. Testing in a test- and production environment will be performed during the next month. Your role is easy: we take care of installation, maintenance, and end-user training. Of course, we will stay with you as long as you want to.
4. What skills does the use of AI require?
ElinarAI™ is very easy to use and set up – you do not need any special skills. We pre-train the AI with the provided training data. Of course, we also help to collect high-quality data if necessary. Because your company’s management software doesn’t change while setting up the ElinarAI™, users don’t have to learn new systems. We take care of installation, integration, and maintenance as well as the training of end-users. After that, help and support are available when needed.
5. We already use RPA, why expand to AI?
ElinarAI™ will be tailored to the individual needs of each company. It will give much more business benefits than just Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Thus, ElinarAI™ complements it by giving the brain to it. Even automated processes often involve bottlenecks, as RPA is based on human-defined automation rules. These bottlenecks can be, for example, in a purchase invoice accounting process: incomplete information or incorrect reference number. It always takes manual work to resolve them.
The superpower of a deep-learning AI lies in its ability to apply the knowledge it receives. AI can be harnessed to identify missing information on the invoice from other sources, including external. Sometimes a different total amount or a reference number can be found in the message field of the invoice or in a related email. ElinarAI can also find and extract this additional information when it is needed.
As a result, the setting up ElinarAI™ saves the company’s resources and enables more error-free data faster. In an example of the purchase invoice process, it means sharper financial documents faster to CFO – and more predictable cash flow.
6. Does the introduction of AI mean that we must upgrade all the systems?
No. ElinarAI™ does not replace any software at your disposal but complements it. AI makes the whole process more efficient, faster, and error-free. We integrate ElinarAI™ into the used system, like SAP.
